Rose flowers, especially buds, contain a high concentration of vitamin C which by far surpasses the levels in fresh fruits like orange, tomato, and grapefruit. This makes it a great herbal tea to maintain a healthy and radiant skin, and to fight off colds and flu in a more natural way.
Health benefits of loose rose bud tea also include its ability to clear toxic waste from the bladder and kidneys and therefore reduces the risk of urinary tract infections. Drinking rose tea can also prevent blockages that can be caused by kidney stones.
How to make Rose Bud Tea?
It’s recommended to steep our pink rosebud tea with a covered glass teapot. Use about 2 teaspoons for every 500ml of water. Steep with hot water at 95°c for 4-5 minutes for the first and second brewing. Increase temperature and time for further brews. Glas tea mugs or teapots are great as you can look through the glass and appreciate the wonderful appearance of the pink roses.
